ICAEW Regulation & Conduct Board
Lay Member (Transformation), appointed July 2026. The ICAEW Regulation & Conduct Board (IRCB) oversees ICAEW's regulatory and disciplinary work, ensuring it is carried out in the public interest. I hold the technology and transformation remit and lead its Technology and Transformation Working Group, bringing an outside perspective on transformation: how regulated firms actually change, and where technology-led change creates risk the regulator needs to see.

Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), nominated by a Fellow and peer-assessed. Treasurer of the BCS ICT Ethics Specialist Group, the BCS member group focused on the ethical practice of computing. Co-chaired the opening session of the BCS IT Leaders Forum Annual Conference and Symposium, London, 5 October 2026, as a member of its Steering Group.
Founding group member of the AI Ethical Expert Concordat (2026), alongside the Tortora Brayda Institute for AI and Cybersecurity.
Industry standards work
Named adviser and collaborator on PRINCE2 Agile (AXELOS, 2015), credited in the published manual; contributor to AXELOS best-practice guidance, 2014 to 2022. Author of "Governance principles for agile service delivery", adopted across UK government and still published on GOV.UK. Judge, UK Agile Awards and UK IT Industry Awards. Author of CHART, an openly published AI governance framework addressing the EU AI Act's human-oversight obligations.
